Knitted socks

I've ordered some of this wool - Opal Sock Wool at Angel Yarns UK - it has a pattern printed on it so that it takes effect as you knit. I like this idea because I hate the loose threads on the back of the socks which always seem to get stuck in your toes when you put them on! I've never knitted socks before - I'll post a photo when I finish them.
