I made it so that I could use it as a journal quilt if I didn't have enough but I didn't need it so it is slightly bigger than that since I didn't need to make it exactly 11 by 8.5. I think it's about 12 by 9.

Thanks, Valeri. It is actually painted, with Jacquard paints - lots of irridescents - not dyed. We did that as the first stage in the class.

Love the effect of using the sheer ribbon as a binding! I would never have thought of that.
