This is a detail of another thing we made there (the big photo came out all blurry - I obviously wasn't doing well at taking photos this morning!). It is brown paper painted with acrylics and crumpled, with painted Bondaweb ironed on to it. We used metallic scrim (I think that's what it's called) and rubbed it over a wooden block to get the elephant, and heated it over a candle to get the colours (the scrim is copper originally). Yet another thing which I started and didn't finish - the story of my life!
