I made a border out of painted textured wallpaper for this wallhanging which I pictured here. I fused it to wadding (batting) with Bondaweb. The white shape on the left side is where I tried ironing on the painted side without any baking parchment... duh... I'm planning to embellish it with beads and things too, and stitch into it to unite the border and the embroidery, which is peeling rather a lot. I need to disguise a lot of that.
