Yesterday my husband went to an airshow so I had to entertain the kids. We went and bought a Network Rider card so we could travel on all the South Wales buses all day, and then we set about using it to its fullest! First we went to Monmouth, about an hour's bus ride away - the scenic route! This is the market square and the Squire Hall. It has some nice little shops and I found a wool shop which sold Colinette and Rowan wool (and of course I had to buy some!) and next door was a quilt shop. Then we found a nice restaurant to have lunch in.
