This is based on a design I developed from wisteria pods. It is applique from the back and I've done it in lots of different fabrics - velvet, Harris tweed, linen, silk.
Thank you, both of you. Actually, I was considering including it in the five as I have others on the same theme (hope this isn't giving too much away...) but it was slightly bigger than the 11x8.5" and I was a bit worried it might not qualify... don't tell Karey!!
I love this Liz and can imagine it is very tactile, I am glad I am seeing it after seeing Jan and feb journals so seeing your starting point and how you have developed the pod, this is sooo different from the Jan quilt, in just the way the pod changes with time,
