And here it is finished, bound with an orange sheer ribbon. Now I've got to quilt the bigger one which is about 20 inches square. I'm not sure whether to add a border at the moment or whether to use more sheer fabric to make a border on top of the existing top. It is sitting on my noticeboard/design wall at the moment (I really must make a proper design wall sometime but it will have to be a portable one because there's no spare wall space in my studio.)

This piece is wonderful. I love the depth of colour that you have achieved and the movement. It is reminiscent of a cauldron on the boil splahing into the air. Delicious!
